Servite Primary School, formally known as Servite Convent Preparatory School, was owned and operated by The Sisters of Mercy. In 1978 Servite Convent Preparatory ceased to exist, as the Catholic sisters decided to migrate. It was at this time that they donated the entire property, as a gift, to the government of Jamaica.
